I have only had one experience with Arborwood and that was to have a very large willow tree ( maybe 5 foot plus in diameter at the bottom) taken down and to trim an elm tree. I knew very little about selecting someone to do the work. I had several quotes. Cost was a concern as I am retired. I was also concerned not to damage the gardens of my neighbour. I had a hard time sorting out all of the bids I had. Some mentioned using a crane and some using a bucket truck. In the end, I chose Arborwood because they were more responsive than anyone else and their price was in line.
What I know now is that cranes and bucket trucks are not important in doing a great job. Arborwood folks climbed the tree and cut and roped the big limbs so they did no damage when they came down. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up the mess associated with such a large tree. I don't see how anyone could have done a better job. I feel that I made a good choice with Arborwood and will use them again if I have a need.
